Do you offer Medicare Rebates?

COMING SOON! We will soon offer Medicare Rebates through a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).

We are a non-registered NDIS provider and do provide therapy and social work services that can be accessed by people with an NDIS plan — either NDIA managed, Plan Managed or Self Managed.

Do you offer online appointments?

Yes, we offer online appointments via Zoom or via phone, depending on your preference and needs. Online appointments are particularly useful to people who have busy lives, have limited services locally, or are unable to meet in person.

Please advise if an online appointment suits you best when submitting an enquiry through our Contact Form.

Do i need a referral?

You are able to self refer, have a family member, carer, or NDIS Support Coordinator refer (with your consent), but do not need a referral from a GP to book an appointment with us.

To contact us for an appointment, or to answer any questions you may have, email hello@mindcareavenue.com.

Visit our Contact Page for more information.

What are the benefits of pressional social work supervision?

Active participation in professional supervision is a core practice standard for social workers, as outlined in the Practice Standards (AASW, 2013). Professional supervision makes a pivotal contribution toward enhancing professional skills, engaging in professional learning and ensuring quality, ethical and accountable services as per AASW Practice Standards.

Professional supervision can be provided to social workers, human service professionals and NDIS Support Coordinators.

All Mindcare Avenue social workers provide supervision.

how do i pay for my session?

Payment is required on the day of booking your appointment.

When booking your first session, we will ask for payment details that will be used to pay for your session. A 50% deposit will be taken upon booking your first appointment, and the remainder will be charged after your first session.

If you require a third party to pay for the sessions, it is your responsibility to speak to them prior to booking your session and confirm payment.

If you have any questions around billing, please contact us directly.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to postpone or cancel your appointment, we ask that you provide 48 hours notice via phone call, text or email. You can contact Mindcare Avenue at hello@mindcareavenue.com.

If less than 48 hours notice is provided, 50% of the total fee will be charged for late cancellation.
